As per Director Vipul Amrutlal Shah Interviews, “Yes, after much planning and plotting and two years since the first film, we’ve finally cracked an idea that works. My writer Suresh Nair and I are happy with what we’ve come up with. And yes, I’ll be directing the sequel.”

As per Latest Bollywood News, For Singh is King Sequel means Singh is King 2, as per Latest Akshay Kumar Interviews, he said that, “Yes, a lot of fans in the UK are eager to see us do a sequel to Singh Is Kinng again. And I’ve asked Vipul to get on with it. Yes, I did tell our PM about it. When Manmohan Singhji heard that I would be dedicating a film to him, he gave me a broad smile. The PM stepped aside to talk to me. That's when I told him about my plan. It was such a big honour. A moment I felt truly proud to be an Indian.”

Akshay Kumar is dedicating Singh Is King 2 to Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.He met the PM during his state visit to Canada, told him about his plan for the sequel and how the movie would open with the line 'Dedicated to Prime Minister Manmohan Singhji'.
The sequel is slated to roll early 2011.

(2) Akshay Kumar will leverage his celebrity status in India to promote Canada as a premier four-season destination in his new role as the Canadian Tourism Commission Ambassador for India.

As per Latest Akshay Kumar Interviews, he said that, “I am very honored and privileged to have been asked to represent the CTC as their Ambassador for India. Based on a true incident, this film unveils the charade of the lay man.
