Bollywood set to rock New Year with Romantic comedy.

Hot Actress Priyanka Chopra (Piggy Chops) and writer, producer and actor Uday Chopra say love is always possible, while promoting their Bollywood Upcoming film 'Pyaar Impossible' in showbiz capital Mumbai.

Priyanka and Uday Chopra addressed a news conference to promote the film, and said that the film would attract audiences because of its simplicity.

"We are very excited because we hope to start the year off with a bang. And I think what the audience will like about the film is the simplicity of it, as there are no complications. It’s not something not brainless comedy or brainless where you have to leave your brains at home kind of film, it’s not like that. But it's also not a film where you have to really think too much, it's not cerebral. It’s just a breezy, soft, sweet film," said Priyanka Chopra.

Uday Chopra added that anyone who feels their love is impossible should definitely watch this film.

"The message I would like to give with this film is of course is that don't believe your Pyaar (love) is impossible if you do love somebody out there, who you think is above your league, or for whatever reason you think you cannot get her or him, just make the move, go out there, and tell that person, or probably bring that person and watch the movie with that person, and hopefully that Pyaar would become possible," said Uday Chopra.

The movie is directed by actor-turned-director Jugal Hansraj under the banner of Yash Raj Films. The romantic comedy also features Dino Morea.

The film is slated for releasing date on January 8, 2010.

'Pyaar Impossible' is said to be inspired by the hit British film 'Notting Hill', which starred Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant in the lead roles.



The film's official website describes the film as the love story of a beauty and a geek.

Radio Mirchi, the official partner of Mood Indigo — Asia’s biggest college festival organized by IIT Powai, roped in the forthcoming Bollywood Upcoming Movie 2010 - Chance Pe Dance so that lead actor and dancer Shahid Kapoor might preside over the dancing competition held during the event.



Shahid Kapoor, easily one of Bollywood’s finest dancers, was cheered by 6,000-plus students from colleges across the country as he sat through ten scintillating performances. Dazzled by what he was seeing, Shahid said, “I am hugely impressed by how professionally the event has been managed by the IIT students and it is great to see Radio Mirchi supporting young talent.”



Sriram Kilambi, Station Director, Radio Mirchi, added, “We have always been supportive of cultural initiatives by college students and are the official radio partner of Mood I for over five years. IIT and Mirchi come together every year in December to make the event bigger and better. Students tune into Mirchi for regular updates on events, contests, and for passes to the live performances. We also do live updates from the venue. Mirchi RJs are invited to compare and judge events. This year RJ Suren of Sunset Samosa was the host at the dance competition and the Shankar, Ehsaan, Loy show. We look forward to Mood I 2010.”

The event ended with the participants of the competition shaking a leg with Shahid Kapoor and posing for pictures with the youth icon of Bollywood.

Looks like Bollywood Superstar Aamir Khan has become fond of Chennai as he keeps visiting the place regularly. Recently, after his visit to Chennai, he headed for Mahabalipuram disguising his looks. As he went around seeing the sculptures, he got friendly with one guide. As Aamir was chatting with him, he revealed his true identity asking whether he knows him. But Mr. Perfectionist of Bollywood was a little disappointed when the guide came up with a reply that he is not aware of any actors.

Naturally, it was Aamir’s turn to bring his rival Bollywood Badshah Shahrukh Khan into the picture asking him whether he knows that actor, only to hear the same reply. The Aamir asked whether he never saw any Hindi films. The guide replied that he saw only one Hindi film ‘Shalimar’ and further added he knew only Dharmendra and Bollywood Legend Megastar Amitabh Bachchan.

Aamir Khan gifted him a ring before he left. The guide also told him that he also wanted to gift and presented Aamir with a small Ganapathy idol.

Bollywood Khiladi Akshay Kumar at Toronto for Olympic News Gossip

Protestors Dispute Bollywood Star Akshay Kumar Torch Relay in Toronto.

One of Bollywood biggest stars Akshay Kumar carried the Olympic torch as it made its way through Toronto on Thursday.

Kumar ran with the Olympic torch on the Toronto landmark Yonge Street in bone-chilling weather. Even the minus eight-degree temperature failed to deter people as thousands lined up both sides of the street to have a glimpse of the star.

However, Kumar could not finish his 300-metre run as protesters blocked the street to highlight the treatment of Native Indians by the Canadian government.

Hundreds of policemen intervened to remove the agitators who kept shouting slogans against the holding of the Olympics on lands taken away from the original natives of Canada.

Kumar is an international torchbearer with the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Torch Relay. He took up the flame on Yonge St. between Gloucester St. and Breadalbane St. at approximately 6:10 p.m.

"I am honoured and privileged to have been selected as an official torchbearer for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Torch Relay," Kumar said. "Running with the Olympic Flame in Toronto gives me an exceptional opportunity to represent India and all of my fans. The flame is a symbol of freedom, peace and global friendship, and I would like to thank Canada for this honour and recognition."

Thanking Canada for inviting him to run with the Olympic torch, he said, "It is a dream come true.

"I am honoured and privileged to have been selected as an official torchbearer for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic torch relay. I would like to thank Canadians for this honour and recognition,'' he said.

Kumar calls Canada his home away from home, and supports numerous Canadian charities, including the Trillium Health Centre in Toronto.

Bollywood Star Aamir Khan at Sourav Ganguly’s Home

Disguised Bollywood Hot Bold Actor Aamir Khan visits Sourav Ganguly's home in Kolkata.

Bollywood star Aamir Khan roamed around the streets of Kolkata in disguise as part of an innovative way to promote his forthcoming Bollywood Upcoming Film '3 Idiots'.

In a unique marketing strategy Khan has gone incognito before the film's release.

Aamir Khan walked down the streets of Kolkata and met locals. He also went knocking on the doors of Saurav Ganguly posing as a fan. But the guards stationed there failed to recognize him and disallowed his meeting with the former Indian cricket captain.

Later in the evening, he again paid visit to Ganguly's residence in his normal looks and met him. Aamir Khan wife Kiran Rao also accompanied him.

He spent the entire evening and better part of the night at Ganguly's house. Khan also presented a ring to former ace batsman on the occasion.

The star cast of the film, during a media conference held in Mumbai on Friday, disclosed that Khan would be on an adventure trip throughout the country for two weeks.

Earlier he went to Varanasi, which is her mother's ancestral hometown.



Khan has described this ploy as an 'Alternative Reality Game' (ARG) of Three Idiots, and whoever successfully identifies Khan in his disguise would be get free tickets for the movie and as a bonus Khan would spend New Year's night with the lucky winner and his family.

'3 Idiots' is the celluloid adaptation of author Chetan Bhagat's bestselling novel 'Five Point Someone'.

Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film essays the story of three friends whose dismal grade point averages at the Indian Institute of Technology influence their friendship, love life and career choices.

Sharman Joshi, Aamir Khan and R. Madhavan who are starring together in this film, were also co-stars in the critically acclaimed 'Rang De Basanti'.

The film, set for release on December 25, has brought Khan and producer-director Vidhu Vinod Chopra together for the first time.

The film also stars actor Kareena Kapoor in the female lead.
