“Mahesh has no aspirations to act, but he is definitely going to make films. His company Big Daddy Productions is co-producing Chalo Dilli along with my production house Bheegi Basanti Entertainment.”

“Shashant approached me to play the role of Mihika Banerjee, which I accepted. At that time, Shashant was looking for a producer and he wanted somebody established to come on board.”

“That’s when Mahesh suggested that he and I produce the film together. Mahesh and I complement each other well. He has a wonderful business sense while I am familiar with the functioning of the industry.”

“The script was written keeping Vinay in mind. When I read the script, I felt that Vinay and my pairing would be the USP of the film because people would be seeing us together for the first time.”

“I wish we had the extravagance of shooting for 68 days. Every time I was giving a shot, I knew at the back of my mind that my unit hadn’t dispersed for dinner or I knew the sun would set in two hours and we had four hours of shoot left. There were so many wonderful moments during the filming, but I was too exhausted to enjoy any of those.” explains Lara, a self-proclaimed “hard taskmaster."

A naughty prank played by Akshay Kumar in Italy when shooting for Sajid Nadiadwala Bollywood Upcoming Movie in 2010 Housefull, brought the three actresses of the film — Lara Dutta, Hot Deepika Padukone and Jiah Khan, close together. The story’s been told before, but it’s worthy of repetition.

The Khiladi, a notorious prankster, made Jiah the butt of his joke at an Italian restaurant where the cast had gone for dinner. When the young actress went to the ladies’ room, Akshay stuffed all the branded silverware on the table into Jiah’s handbag. Akshay warned the others to act normal and watch the fun. Poor Jiah, she returned and was completing her meal when the restaurant authorities descended on the table and recovered the “stolen” cutlery. Jiah nearly died,” giggled Deepika, “it was her first taste of Akshay’s masti.” “And all of us gave her these accusing ‘what-have-you-done’ looks,” added Lara.

But the Bollywood Khiladi brand of humor only brought the three hot actresses closer on the sets of Housefull. And, in a twist that’s unusual for Bollywood, they began bonding big time off sets too. Strangely, Lara, Deepika and Jiah all play Akshay’s wives in the Sajid Khan-directed film. “Lara and I are Bangalore girls, so the camaraderie was there from day one,” said Deepika. “Yes,” agreed Lara, “we come from similar backgrounds. Deepika, like me, was a model from Bangalore.” Jiah was the baby on the sets but said Lara and Deepika helped her to feel comfortable. Except, of course, when Akshay got the devil in him!

But that’s not what is making the three hotties break into giggles over this photo-shoot. TOI had asked, “How high on the thigh?” (Go on, check out their legs) to find out which actress was wearing the shortest outfit! To discover that they are all comfortable in their skins and don’t mind flashing their legs or exposing cleavage on screen, too. Wait and see. Sajid, in fact, has got them all in bikinis for Housefull. And that, even for Akshay, must have been more than a handful!

Bollywood Bold Stars Akshay Kumar-Sanjay Dutt Upcoming Movie Gossip

Lara Dutta, the sizzling hot babe of bollywood who plays lead in upcoming under- water thriller ‘Blue’ opposite Akshay Kumar, has stolen the show with her hot scenes.

The buzz doing the rounds in the industry is that Lara Dutta had taken special care to tone up her already fabulous figure before giving those two bikini shots for the flick. It has left not only Katrina Kaif’s hot item number looking pale in comparison, but also caused heartburn to mega co-stars like Akshay Kumar and Sanjay Dutt, who play male leads in the film.

In fact, Lara Dutta is in the character of Mona, who is love interest of Sanjay Dutt and the only person who knows his secrets. The movie has also a novel factor of having Akshay Kumar play the part of a villain in it, while Sanjay Dutt plays the character of traditional hero. Zayed Khan also stars in the flick.

The movie has been mostly shot in Bahamas by director Anthony D’souza and producer Dhiliin Mehta with Akshay Kumar, Lara Dutta and Sanjay Dutt enacting dare devil stunts under sea water in that African country. The production team had hired best of technicians and special effects team from Hollywood to aid it during the filming of dangerous scenes with sharks and other underwater creatures.

This Akshay Kumar-Sanjay Dutt starrer flick has been awarded U/A certificate by the censor board due to its dangerous stunts. Though, the producer and director wanted U’ certificate for the film to enhance its reach, but censor board refused due to its dangerous underwater scenes.

As the film is releasing worldwide on sixteenth of October, Akshay Kumar has geared up for the promotion of the flick in a big way. In this regard, Akki will be entering the ‘Bigg Boss’ house on this Friday and will spend half of the day with its inmates before coming out and chatting up with its host Amitabh Bachchan.

It may be recalled that Akshay Kumar also ended his decade long animosity with Sanjay Dutt during the promotion of the ‘Blue’, thereby dismissing all talks of role cutting of Sanjay Dutt. Akki denied any editing out of Sanju’s role in the flick and instead praised him as the real hero of the film.
